Went to the Detroit Auto Show last night and saw so many grills I thought it was a paul wall concert but it was the new Ford F-150. They have done this in the past. But not to this degree at a launch. Its almost like wheel options or a color choice.
Do you guys have a favorite?
(I added numbers on pics for easier differentiation since I didn't note the model each grill was on) Sorry for iPotato Photos.

My favorite is #6 which is me closing my eyes and not looking at any of these grills. Well the grills are okay, but those headlights are terrible.
I've now been very critical in comments on several articles in succession. I'm not in a bad mood, this is strange. I'm getting very curmudgeonly about car looks these days, but I really hate the front end of the new F150

I agree to a degree but I think that about the new pickup trucks from GM too. They are kind of ugly and not very truckventional. Yep I made up a word because I cant think of the proper way to describe that. The last re-designs from all of the big 3 have been very evolutionary. But I dont think thats the formula here. Maybe they are hoping to bring new buyers to truck segment with the styling and turbos.

I think the new GMCs look much better than the Fords. I really hate the Ford's headlights.

Its not bad a bit busy but not too much. My money is on 3... ohhhhh that smoky chrome!

Honestly, I like them all. Like I said, I love extreme designs. Give me the outlandish front end (Audi, Lexus' Bane grill, the older Acura TL, etc) over a subdued grill any day.
